Sodium chlorate

Sodium chlorate is an inorganic compound. It is a pale-yellow crystalline powder without an odor. Sodium chlorate is used as a precursor in the production of chlorine dioxide. Also, it is used in agriculture as non-selective herbicides and in the manufacturing of explosives, dyes, and matches.
